Creation and organization of your projects portfolios

PlanningForce has a wide range of project portfolio management tools which lets you manage and plan all your projects into a single file or in the same environment when using the server edition. You structure all your projects into folders, subfolders in order to better reflect the organization of your business.

It is essential to have an overview of all ongoing projects and those to come. PlanningForce allows you to represent this information in a clear and structured way. There is no limit in number of projects or number of folders.

We will see later that you can give different priorities to your projects, it is also interesting to organize projects by priorities or by their status (started, forthcoming).

Dependencies between projects

PlanningForce has all the features a project portfolio management software requires to let the project portfolio manager work efficiently. It is possible to set dependencies between the projects together and to apply them specific constraints such as link dependencies or date constraints.

Some projects may themselves not all start at the same time or should start with very specific dates, you can use and define the concepts of predecessors, successors between projects.

Resource sharing between projects

Resources are often required to be used on different projects simultaneously, our project planning software allows you to assign your resources on several projects at the same time. PlanningForce does not allocate a resource on a task beyond its availability.
