PlanningForce is an iterative process
Before defining a plan, create multiple simulations rather than just one:
- assess different options of scope, resources and schedule
- simulate at different levels, e.g. starting from a long planning horizon with minimal detail and aggregated data, to highly detailed short-term schedules
- create optimized versions on change or new knowledge
- create worst-case, best-case scenarios or perform what-if analysis
- add contingency plans
- apply coefficients or probabilistic distribution to model risks, add consistency, refine estimates.
